Profile

Henrik Walther
is a Microsoft Certified Master: Exchange 2007, Microsoft Exchange MVP, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator/Enterprise Messaging Administrator, and MCSE: M+S that works as a Technology Architect for Timengo Consulting A/S, a Microsoft Gold Partner based in Denmark. His primary role at Timengo Consulting A/S is to plan, design and implement messaging solutions based on Exchange Server for large Enterprise IT organizations. Henrik has been in the IT industry for more than 15 years (primarily working with MS technology), but has over the years become a Microsoft Exchange Messaging Specialist.

In addition to his job as Technology Architect at Timengo Consulting A/S, Henrik is part of the Technical writer team at Biblioso Corporation, that amongst other things develops many of the Exchange technical white papers for Microsoft IT Showcase.

Moreover he owns and runs the danish site - Exchange-faq.dk, and is the primary content creator over at MSExchange.org. Henrik is the author behind the How To Cheat at Configuring Exchange Server 2007 and CYA Securing Exchange Server 2003 & Outlook Web Access books both published by Syngress Publishing (now part of Elsevier Press). Henrik was also a reviewer for a several other messaging books. Henrik is also involved in developing Exchange related course material for Microsoft Learning.

Henrik is lucky to share his life with his fantastic wife Michella (an absolutely non-computer geek!) and his lovely little son Benjamin.

Microsoft Certified Master: Exchange 2007

During September/October 2007, I attended Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA): Messaging rotation 20 at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington. I passed the four weekly exams as well as the qualification lab, which means I'm now a Microsoft Certified Master: Exchange 2007. Now I "only" need to pass the review board process, so I can become a Microsoft Certified Architect: Exchange 2007.

The MCM/MCA program have been created to provide the world's top tier training and certification on Microsoft Exchange Server to build a community of trusted messaging architects who can successfully address the most complex customer requirements.

MVP Exchange award (2004-?)

Late 2003 I received an
Exchange MVP award for my contributions to the Exchange Server community
. The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award is an annual award that is given to outstanding members of Microsoft's peer-to-peer communities, and is based on the past year's contributions those members make in those communities online and offline.
