Introduction to Exchange Online - Uncovering BPOS (Part 4)
In part 3 of this article series, we went through the steps necessary in order to configure e-mail coexistence between our on-premise environment and Exchange Online. More specifically we added our SMTP domain to MSOL and made sure messages in transit between the environments were sent over a TLS secured connection.
In this part 4, we will install the Microsoft Directory Synchronization tool and replicate AD users, groups and contacts from our on-premise Active Directory to MSOL as disabled user accounts. We will also take a geeky, behind the scenes look at the Directory Synchronization engine which is based on the Identity Lifecycle Manager (formerly known as MIIS).

Routing mellem virtuelle maskiner i Hyper-V
Iforb. med en E2K7 site-level disaster recovery test jeg sidder og fedter med i mit Hyper-V baseret lab havde jeg behov for at få routning til at spille mellem mine virtuelle subnets.
Jeg kunne selvfølgelig introducere en virtuel RRAS server, og så konfigurere routningen den vej igennem, men det viste sig at være en endnu mere simpel proces. På Hyper-V hosten (W2K8 R2) installerede jeg "Network Policy and Access Services" rollen i Server Manager og fulgte herefter denne guide.

Microsoft Transporter Suite supporterer nu Domino 8.x og Windows Server 2008
Jeg har igennem de sidste mange måneder fået mange spørgsmål omkring MS Transporter Suiten iforb. med support af Domino 8.x og Windows Server 2008, og ja denne nyeste version som supporterer begge dele har været forsinket flere gange, men nu er den her.
"Overview
Transporter Suite contains a set of tools for migrations from both Lotus Domino Servers, and generic IMAP/POP sources. For Lotus Domino the suite contains a set of tools for Directory and Free/Busy interoperability between Lotus Domino 6, 7 and 8 and Exchange Server 2007 and Windows Server 2003/2008 Active Directory. In addition for Lotus Domino the suite contains migration tools to migrate users, groups, personal address lists, mailboxes, personal mail archives, and applications from Lotus Domino 5, 6, 7 or 8 to Active Directory, Exchange Server 2007, and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. For generic POP/IMAP servers the suite contains a set of tools to bulk migrate mailboxes from any generic email servers that support the POP3 or IMAP4 protocol to mailboxes in Exchange Server 2007."
