Technical Author for Microsoft TechNet Magazine
Nu hvor kontrakt med videre er kommet på plads kan jeg endelig poste nyheden her på Exchange-faq.dk...
Microsoft har hyret mig som "Technical Author" for det populære TechNet Magazine, jeg kommer til at være ansvarlig for den velkendte Exchange Queue & A kolonne, der tidligere blev drevet af personer som KC Lemson, Nino Bilic med flere fra Exchange produkt gruppen.
Jeg er sådan set rimelig stolt af de har henvendt sig til mig, fremfor at bruge andre fuldtids-MSFT ansatte fra Exchange teamet. Det er ikke helt skidt når man tænker på jeg koster noget modsat interne fuldtids MSFT folk, der ikke får en krone for at skrive for bladet ![]()
Min første kolonne udkommer med Juli 2008 udgaven.

Deploying an Exchange 2007 SP1 CCR Cluster on a Windows Server 2008 Failover Cluster – Part 2: Forming and Validating the Failover Cluster
We will create the Windows Server 2008 Failover Cluster and insure that it is configured properly using the new cluster configuration validation wizard included with Windows Server 2008.

Nyt Storage Design for Exchange Server 2007 TWP udgivet
Så har Microsoft IT Showcase netop udgivet et nyt Exchange 2007 storage white paper. Jeg har ikke været med til at skrive på dette, det er istedet min buddy Kay Unkroth der kan tage æren for det. Et must read med masser af lækre detaljer!
Det er dog mig der skal skrive det næste i rækken.

Test af AutoDiscover, RPC over HTTP og inbound SMTP
Et par gutter fra Exchange Produkt gruppen har lavet et web-baseret tool der kan hjælpe dig med at teste om AutoDiscover (Outlook 2007), RPC over HTTP (Outlook 2003) samt SMTP virker som det skal:

Microsoft Unveils Smartphone Advancements to Improve Ability to Work and Play With One Phone

LAS VEGAS— April 1, 2008 —Windows Mobile is improving smartphones to better meet people’s rapidly expanding work and personal needs, Microsoft Corp. today announced. At CTIA Wireless 2008, the company unveiled the newest version of Internet Explorer Mobile, which adds desktop-grade Web browsing to Windows Mobile phones. In addition, Microsoft announced Windows Mobile 6.1, an update for its Windows Mobile software that includes new time-saving features, easier phone navigation and management, and increased security safeguards.
“People want a single phone that’s flexible enough to meet their needs throughout their day, whether it’s connecting to work or your everyday life,” said Robbie Bach, president of the Entertainment and Devices Division at Microsoft. “The innovations we’ve added to our Windows Mobile software ultimately make it easier to manage your world.”

Exchange Server 2007 includes a new feature in Service Pack 1 called Standby Continuous Replication, or SCR. SCR makes it easy to add high availability and disaster recovery capabilities to your e-mail environment. In this Virtual lab, you will learn to create SCR in Exchange Server 2007, and use SCR to recover from failure.
