Så fik jeg resultater for Windows 2008 70-646 og 70-647 tests
Og det ser ud til jeg bestod begge disse beta eksamener.
Det betyder jeg nu også er MCITP: Server Administrator, så nu er der bare tilbage at få taget Vista (70-620 eller 70-624) så er jeg MCITP: Enterprise Administrator, hvilket betyder samtlige Windows 2008 certificeringer er overstået.

Load Balancing Exchange 2007 SP1 Hub Transport Servers using Windows Network Load Balancing Technology (Part 1)
Exchange Server 2007 (RTM and SP1) Hub Transport servers are resilient by default. This means that if you install more than one Hub Transport server in an Active Directory (AD) site and one fails, the other(s) will continue to accept connections. In addition, when you have more than one Hub Transport server deployed in an AD site, connections will be load balanced automatically between the Hub Transport servers. There is only one exception to this rule, and that is when a Hub Transport server role is installed on a server also holding the Mailbox server role. In this specific scenario the Hub Transport server local to the Mailbox server will always be preferred over other Hub Transport servers in the AD site.

Exchange 2003 Mainstream Support
Så er der godt og vel et års tid til mainstream supporten på Exchange 2003 RTM udløber (der er ikke angivet specifik dato for SP2 p.t.). Dette kan være et udmærket argument for der skal til at ske noget, når du snakker med IT cheferne i de større virksomheder omkring en transition til Exchange 2007.
Selvfølgelig er der den udvidet support meeen...

Microsoft to Expand Microsoft Online Services for Businesses of All Sizes
REDMOND, Wash. — March 2, 2008 — Monday from the annual Microsoft Office SharePoint Conference, Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft Corp., will announce that the company will offer Microsoft Online Services to businesses of all sizes. This announcement marks a significant step for Microsoft toward expanding its software plus services strategy.
“The combination of software plus services gives customers advanced choice and flexibility in how they access and manage software,” Gates said. “With Microsoft Online Services, businesses can deploy software as a subscription service, from servers they manage on-site, or a combination of the two, depending on their specific needs. In the future, customers and partners should expect to see this kind of choice and flexibility for all of Microsoft’s software and server products.”

Recovering an Exchange 2007 Clustered Mailbox Server (CMS) using the RecoverCMS Switch Part 2
In the previous article in this two part article series on how you recover a lost CMS in Exchange Server 2007, we went through how you install the first passive mailbox server, recover the CMS itself and how you restore the Mailbox databases from backup. In this article we’ll continue where we left off. We will install the Passive Mailbox Server role on additional nodes in the Windows cluster, update storage group copies, resume replication, testing cluster fail-over and finally explain how you clean up the obsolete computer account objects and A-records in Active Directory and DNS respectively.

Nyt Microsoft Exchange Load Generator Paper
Overview
The Exchange Load Generator (LoadGen) document describes installing Exchange Load Generator on a client computer and then steps through configuring, creating, running, customizing, repeating, and stopping the test. Information is provided about the user interface, the XML configuration file, and the command-line program, each of which performs specific functions of the tool. Additionally, there are topics for using System Monitor and LoadGen data, things to consider when looking at test results, and consolidating System Monitor data and analyzing LoadGen. Non-task descriptions include operational recommendations, features of the tool, and a reference of performance counters.
Exchange Load Generator is used as a simulation tool to measure the effect of MAPI clients on Exchange servers. LoadGen enables you to test how a server that is running Exchange responds to e-mail loads. To simulate the delivery of these messaging requests, you run Exchange Load Generator tests on client computers. These tests send multiple messaging requests to the Exchange server, which causes a mail load. LoadGen is useful for administrators who are sizing servers and validating a deployment plan. Specifically, LoadGen helps determine whether each of your servers can handle the load that they are intended to carry. Another use for LoadGen is to help validate the overall solution.
The Exchange Load Generator and the accompanying documentation replace the Load Simulator tool and information.

16000 Mailbox brugere på en server
IBM havde i samarbejde med VMWARE i sidste uge i Cannes et indlæg hvor de sagde de havde ramt 16k heavy mailbox brugere på en fysisk server

Dog var det 8 VM's med 2k mailboxe hver men stadig bedre end hvad de kunne lave på en fysisk maskine grundet ikke linær skalering.
Så er det lige den detajle med support man skal tage med.
